Program Details

This 10 week high intensity fitness training program is open to individuals training to successfully complete a law enforcement fitness test. This camp will combine interval & agility training, techniques on the push-pull machine and muscular strength and endurance training while utilizing a variety of equipment. The experience and knowledge you’ll gain from this camp will better prepare you for a WPS-PAT, PARE or other law enforcement fitness test. Learn how to get to the problem quickly, deal with the problem physically and take the problem away! Sessions will be led by Strength & Conditioning Specialist Nigel Moore.

Participants are to bring comfortable attire to wear, water bottle and towel (optional). All other equipment will be supplied by the University of Winnipeg Recreation Services department.

Meet the Trainer!

Name: Nigel Moore

Role: Personal Trainer/Strength Coach

Education & Certification: B.Sc in Kinesiology (Exercise Science), NSCA- Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Experience: 6+ years of personal training, has worked with youth, college/university athletes and the general population, post-rehab strength training

Personal Saying: “I believe fitness should be sustainable, and the results should be long-lasting. My simple methods provide the results you want without killing you in the gym."
